Our Story
Why “Upadesha”?
Upadesha (उपदेश) is the Sanskrit word for guidance given close, in person, from teacher to student. It’s the root of every great transmission in the Indian tradition — knowledge that isn’t downloaded, but drawn out through presence, practice and relationship.
Upadesha Academy was founded on a simple conviction: that the deepest learning happens in a room, not a feed. We bring together practitioners, scholars and teams for immersive courses, workshops and retreats across business, art, spirituality, wellness and the Indian Knowledge Systems — designed to move participants from anubhava (experience) to anubhūti (direct realisation).
